Get Fit With Our Fun Fitness Challenges

Many people want to get fit, but they find that a typical gym in Secaucus NJ is boring and not quite what they need. At The Max Challenge, we are not an ordinary gym. We are not the place where you go to lift weights or jog on a treadmill for 45 minutes. We are a fitness challenge, and we are set up to accommodate people at any level of fitness.

We take the time to get to know you, help you set fitness goals and determine your current level of fitness. Our ten-week program includes physical activity and nutrition counseling. This is because eating right and controlling your portion sizes are as important to your fitness as exercising every day. The exercises that take place during our classes are an efficient combination of strength training and cardio. This combo burns more calories in less time.

Each session involves tailoring the exercises to your current level of fitness. As you progress, the exercises get a little tougher. This is good because your muscles have a memory and will not work as hard if they just do the same thing over and over again. We change things up so that you burn calories and lose weight at a faster rate than you would by simply walking or running on a treadmill for an hour. Our nutritional counseling supports the physical activity component of The Max Challenge.
